TS-1 is a titanium-silica molecular sieve with MFI topology and orthorhombic crystal system;TS-1 has a three-dimensional pore structure similar to that of ZSM-5, consisting of zigzag channels and intersecting elliptical straight-through channels, and thus has selective catalytic properties similar to those of ZSM-5 zeolite molecular sieves.
The four-coordinated Ti in the skeleton of titanium-silicon molecular sieve (TS-1) is the active centre of the selective oxidation reaction. In addition to maintaining the topological structure of the original MFI molecular sieve, TS-1 forms a skeleton Si-O-Ti bond with special properties due to the uniform distribution of titanium atoms within the skeleton, so that it possesses both selective and selective catalytic properties in addition to its catalytic oxidative activity.
Since there is no strong acidic Al ion in the structure of TS-1, TS-1 is strongly hydrophobic and has unique catalytic properties for the selective oxidation of various organic compounds with the participation of H2O2.
TS-1 have attracted attention for their excellent catalytic properties in the partial oxidation of many organic compounds, including:
1、Alkene epoxidation
2、Cyclohexanone ammoxidation
3、Alcohol oxidation
4、Oxidation of saturated hydrocarbon
5、Hydroxylation of aromatic hydrocarbons
