1. Ru/Pd Benzene desulphurisation catalyst
In the preparation of cyclohexanol by the cyclohexene method, sulphur-containing organic compounds (e.g. thiophene) are deeply removed from benzene and then used to produce fine chemicals such as adipic acid and caprolactam.
The most important feature of this catalyst is the high selectivity obtained even at higher conversions.
Item | Precious metal content | sulphur content |
Pd | 1.0% | ≥0.9 |
Pt | 1.0% | ≥0.8 |
2. ZnO desulphurisation catalysts
TY-1/TYHZ-1 ZnO Desulfurizing Catalyst, which ZnO content is above 92%, is a mid-density, standard purity zinc oxide adsorbent for the desulfurization of natural gas, light naphtha, off-gas and other light hydrocarbon feed stocks. Optimal temperature operating range is 200-400ºC. Maximum sulfur absorption capacity under typical, well-designed operating conditions is 33.0 wt% at 400ºC. For severe service, TY-1/TYHZ-1 can handle inlet H2S levels up to 500 ppmv. CTYC offers several different densities and purities in its zinc oxide product line to provide optimal value at various operating temperatures and conditions. For most applications, TY-1/TYHZ-1 is typically the most economical ZnO sulfur removal product in the CTYC's serious product line and on the market today.
