1. Characteristics
Macro-pored Micro-spherical Silica Gel has a white transparent or translucent appearance. It has a well-distributed internal micro-pored structure, stable physical and chemical properties, good thermal stability and high mechanical strength. Its average pore diameter is 8.0-12.0 nm, specific surface area is 300-600 m2/g, pore volume is 0.8-1.1 mL/g, thermal conductivity 0.92 KJ/m.Hr.℃.
2. Main application
Used as a catalyst or catalyst carrier in the production of important industrial products. Examples include melamine, phthalic anhydride, maleic anhydride, butadiene rubber, acrylonitrile, etc. It is also used extensively in highly refined petrochemicals through the adsorption of aromatic hydrocarbons. It is also used for the selective adsorption separation of organic gases and liquids and for the elimination of polyvalent toxic elements from water by ion exchange processes.
