Primary Steam-reforming Catalyst
Features & Scope of Application
Z111-6YQ and CN-16YQ are sintered type steam-reforming catalysts for gaseous hydrocarbon, with nickel as their active ingredient, alumina as their support, rare earth oxide and basic oxide as their promoter. They have more reasonable outer appearance structure to improve strength and outer surface area, more reasonable micro pore structure to improve the effective utilization of inner surface area, adding rare earth oxide and basic oxide as promoter to advance catalyst activity at low temperature and anti-carbon formation ability. |
Z111-6YQ and CN- 16YQ are applied in chemical fertilizer/methanol/hydrogen production plants, etc. utilizing natural gas/oil associated gas/refinery off-gas/coke-oven gas, etc. as feedstock. Z111- 6YQ is usually loaded in the upper section of the primary reformer tube and CN- 16YQ is loaded in the lower section. So far, Z111-6YQ and CN- 16YQ have been used in more than 65 sets of ammonia and methanol plants with production capacity of 1000 tons per day.

Z205 and CN-20 are used in chemical fertilizer, methanol, hydrogen production plants, etc. utilizing natural gas/oil associated gas/refinery off-gas/coke-oven gas, etc. as feedstock, and widely applied in secondary reformers, auto-thermal reforming and pure oxygen secondary reforming. Z205 is sintered type catalyst of high temperature and air scour resistance, with a little amount of nickel as its active ingredient and calcium aluminate as its support, loaded in the upper section of secondary reformer to protect catalyst from lower section; |
CN-20 is catalyst with nickel as its active ingredient, calcium aluminate as its support, loaded in the lower section of secondary reformer. Z205 and CN-20 have more reasonable outer appearance structure to improve strength, more reasonable micro pore structure to improve the effective utilization of inner surface area, adding basic oxide as promoter to advance catalyst active stability. So far, Z205 and CN-20 have been used in more than 60 sets of ammonia and methanol plants with production capacity of 1000 tons per day.
