HH-108M
Cutting Fluid HH-108M
Product Description
HH-108M is a high-performance, emulsifiable water-soluble cutting fluid engineered for aluminium and magnesium alloys. It delivers outstanding lubricity, bio-stability and emulsion stability, combined with excellent hard-water tolerance and calcium/magnesium ion sequestration. Suitable for milling, turning, drilling and other machining operations on all series of Al and Mg alloys.
Key Advantages
- Superior lubrication – reduces tool wear and improves surface finish
- Powerful Ca²⁺/Mg²⁺ sequestration – prevents soap scum, extends fluid life
- Extremely low odour – operator-friendly, non-sensitising
- Nitrite-free – environmentally responsible
- High bio-stability – resists rancidity and bacterial growth
- Effective corrosion inhibition – minimal staining on Al and Mg alloys
Typical Properties
| Property | Value | Test Method |
|---|---|---|
| Appearance | Yellow to brown, clear | Visual |
| Density (20 °C) | 0.95 ± 0.05 g/cm³ | GB/T 1884 |
| pH (5 % dilution) | 9.0–10.5 | pH meter |
| Aluminium corrosion | Grade 1 | GB/T 6144-2010 |
| Magnesium alloy corrosion (AZ31B) | Pass | GB/T 6144-2010 |
Usage Recommendations
- General cutting: 5–7 %
- Milling, drilling, fine finishing: 8–15 %
- Dilute with clean tap water; add concentrate to water while stirring
Storage
Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight and rain. Keep containers tightly closed after use to prevent contamination.
Health & Safety
Avoid prolonged or repeated skin contact. Do not ingest. Keep out of reach of children. Dispose of packaging and waste fluid through authorised waste-management contractors; do not pour into drains, soil or watercourses. For further HSE information consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
