Usage:It is a reactive flame retardant, used in a variety of thermosetting polyester, can provide a wider range of ester properties than the acid anhydride flame retardant. The resin prepared with it has high flame retardancy, minimal thermal discoloration and good light stability. Its high bromine content and easy binding with polyurethane, especially suitable for rigid polyurethane foam. It is more and more widely used in free-CFC foam systems to improve its flame retardant rating.
