The most important material for tires is colloids. The internal mixing process involves mixing raw materials such as carbon black, natural/synthetic rubber, oil, additives, and accelerators together, and processing them in an internal mixer to produce a "rubber material". All raw materials must be tested before entering the mixer and can only be used after being released. The weight of each pot of material in the mixer is approximately 250 kilograms.

The rubber used for each type of rubber component in a tire has specific properties. The composition of the rubber material depends on the performance requirements of the tire. At the same time, the changes in rubber composition also depend on the supporting manufacturers and market demand, which mainly come from the requirements of traction, driving performance, road conditions, and the tires themselves.
